NO MORE MEETINGS!!!

RSA’s last facilitated consultation meeting on site selection!  See all the details of the January meeting and other history below. At that meeting we agreed on ground rules for the process, and the criteria for judging the candidate sites.

We also identified a bunch of stuff we need to know before we could properly assess the sites, including the experience of other communities with their skateparks.

Les Carter, our facilitator, interviewed people from 40 other communities across BC, and has produced a short report of their stories – good and bad.  Read it here.  We’ve also done a quick and dirty technical assessment of the candidates, posted here. (We’ll also get to hear a summary of both at the meeting.)

So now we’re ready to go through the process of assessing the candidate sites. If you care where it goes (and why wouldn’t you?) come be part of the process.
